Summertime

Ahhhh...summertime.   Lazy days.....barbeques....brillant flowers.....fresh mown grass...ice-cold watermelon.
What comes to your mind?    We recently were in Indiana (where I grew up) and so many things of summer-
time made me feel like a kid again.        The fireflies were literally dancing above the spring cornfields....I don't think I ever remember seeing that many fireflies as a kid.  There were hundreds of them.  I couldn't take my eyes off them........and marveled at God creating these beautiful insects.   Fresh fields of new mown hay ...homemade ice cream with freshly picked wild raspberries.   Swans swimming on nearby lakes and of course seeing family and friends. 
The days are longer now so we have the opportunity to linger outside late into the evening and watch our galaxy unfold.
I love getting up early, taking a walk, coming home, grabbing my coffee and heading outside.  I enjoy watching the finches eat their morning breakfast.  How in the heck to they eat upside down?? Oh and then I watch our little bunny (I named "it" Gigi) nibbling our grass and yes of course somethimes the flowers.  Uh oh Mr. Mcgregor is on the warpath!!
Summertime at our store is starting to transition as well...the trucks come with pallets of STUFF..Fed Ex and UPS deliver GOBS and GOBS of boxes....Oh my!! It's the fall and Christmas goodies arriving!!  We check in the merchandise admiring all the new STUFF.  The santas are gorgeous this year!!  Magical ornaments...sparkly icicles...sophiscated reindeer.    But for now they go back in their boxes and continue resting until we turn our store into a winter wonderland the end of September.
So for now...wiggle you toes in the grass, grab a tall glass of iced tea and make the most of those sweet summer days.  Take in the summer smells and sights....and as you watch the incredible sunsets don't forget to thank our creator for giving us such beauty........I know I will.

Spring 2011

After the snowy days we've all had its sooo good to see spring coming alive at For Every Season.
Perk up your home with lovely green toparies, good to use in any room.  Spring wreaths have arrived and will add color to your entry door or perhaps in your kitchen.   We found many treasure at the Atlanta Gift
Mart and the selections are arriving daily.  
With Valentines Day only a few days away don't forget your favorite people.....Charm her with a lovely charm from Pandora or Brighton Jewelry.   Sweet treats make for a delightful surprise for him!!
